Bangkok, Thailand is one of the hottest cities in world. The temperature reaches 90 F or higher on almost every day of the year.
When the temperature is combined with humidity, temperatures regularly reach 120 F. In addition, this area also has the highest number
of days with hail in the world with an average 10 - 15 per year.

The heaviest hailstone in the world fell in the Gopalganj district of Bangladesh on April, 14, 1986 and had a weight of 2.25 pounds

On Jun 14, 2009, a severe hailstorm struck China's Anhui province for 90 minutes, killing 14 people and injuring 180.
More than 10,000 people had to be evacuated and approximately 9,700 houses collapsed.. Another hailstorm in the same
province just a week before killed 23 people and injured more than 200.

Outside of the United States, Bangladesh is the only other area in the world that experiences strong and violent tornadoes on an annual basis.
One the deadliest tornadoes on record occurred at 1:00pm on April 26, 1989, 45 miles northwest of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The tornado was
on the ground for only 8 kilometers, but killed 1,300 people.
